Anime.
It's fun to watch.
Buuuuuuuut at other times, it is heart-wrenching, addicting, and potentially life-ruining.
I happened to notice a pattern in the shows that people watch, especially people that have just begun watching anime. I found these 3 to be the most recurring ones that are watched.
#1 Attack on Titan
ROAR! THE TITANS ARE COMING TO GET YOU! Yes, I have to admit that I watched this when I first began watching anime, too. It's gained major popularity over the years. Possibly everyone in the anime world has heard of Attack on Titan. I really loved it at the time, and I still like it now! The only thing I'd say to new viewers who are interested is: if you cannot handle gore, I advise you to please stay away from this show. It can get overwhelming at times... :O But don't be alarmed! There are lots of goofy scenes in this show as well. :P
#2 Sword Art Online
I think I literally watched this show right after I watched Attack on Titan. This anime was pretty good. (*cough cough* don't watch the second season it's a waste of time *cough cough*) It's a swirling mix of tear-jerking action, adventure, drama, and comedy (and a smidge of romance :P). That sweet 'lil couple in the gif will take you on a roller coaster of emotions.
#3 Tokyo Ghoul
If you haven't watched Attack on Titan because of the gore, I advice you to STAY AWAY FROM THIS ANIME. There is so much gore, I swear. It's classified as a "horror" anime, but it's picked up steam and gained global popularity quickly after it came out! :D ...I still love it, though.
