First let's gather some ingredients!
- 1 cup of all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 a teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of butter (plus extra butter for the skillet)
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon of oil
Now let's start the procedure!
- Heat a skillet and pour a mixture of oil and butter into it.
- In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar)
- In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients (milk, butter, and an egg)
- Now, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and combine.
- After the mixture is well mixed, Add in any "extras" you wish to add (chocolate chips, blueberries, etc.)
- Pour a certain amount of mixture into the heated skillet and wait until the pancake is bubbling in the middle. Flip the pancake and wait until it is browned decently.
- Finish the batter by cooking the pancakes.
- Enjoy!!!!!
